Day 1 – 20th September 2005

The four of us arrived in New York after our flight, checked into our hostel and promptly went straight out to explore. Having arrived at 8pm it was out to sample the nightlife rather than do any sightseeing.

Although New York has a multitude of bars & clubs, the majority of them were empty – it was a Tuesday night after all. This placed only a slight dampener on proceedings as we were all having fun. The laughs didnt stop all night, partly due to the alcohol, but mainly due to the first night exitedness we were all feeling.

After a few hours drinking we rocked back to our hostel to catch some much needed sleep, each of us eager for morning so we could explore New York.
