Buenos Aires: Nocturnal

This entry is part 5 of 33 in the series Argentina

Day 145 – Saturday 11th February 2006

After getting in at 6.30am I decided not to spend another day wandering BsAs. Instead I had a little lay in, until about 2pm. When I eventually got up Martin was about to go play and play another game of 5-a-side and he invited me along again.

I thought it might wake me up a little so I accepted and we went off to play a couple of hours later. This game was with different people but my team again came out on top. Must be an omen for the world cup, England beating the Argies.

At about 9pm we returned home and I had dinner before going straight out for another night of drinking with some of Lucia mates. We didn’t start drinking until 1am again, and after a few drinks in another local bar we made it to a club at 4am. This wasn’t in the city centre but in one of the suburbs. Although it was packed and about 5 times bigger, the layout reminded me of Vita in Sudbury. But it was better, I promise.

Drinking and dancing until about 7.30am, we eventually left the club in the bright sunlight.
