A little background from me to you…..

My name is Roy Jones, I am 24 and at the moment I live near Cambridge. It has been said that a picture is worth a thousand words, so here are 2,000 words for you to get an idea of who I am. Well what I look like anyway.

I am going to do a round-the-world trip starting in September 2005. Via this website I plan to keep anyone who is interested - either in travelling, or in me - updated about places I visit, things I do, people I meet and fun I have.

I will fly to New York to begin with, have a few nights in the Big Apple before flying to San Diego and heading down into Mexico, through the Baja California pennisular, across into mainland Mexico. From there I will travel around Mexico, down into Guatemala, Honduras, Belize, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Costa Rica & Panama.

After that I will head into South America, travel around a bit and end up in Rio.

Of course it does, how else did Marty McFly and Dr Emmett Brown go Back to The Future. One point twenty one gigawatt of power in that thing.

In body, no-one. However anyone who wishes to travel vicariously with me through this website is more than welcome.

Until the amount of money that I have when I leave has dissipated. If I am really enjoying myself, I may even call upon Mssrs Visa and Mastercard to contribute to the cost of the trip.
